History

The Institution gained a reputation as the only institution for educating and imparting knowledge to the boys in a large area of Haroa Police Station. The new education policy and statewide literacy movement at the time multiplied demand for education in the region, but the new schools did not meet the needs of the student population. This school is plagued with problems due to the huge number of students.

In 1932, HAROA P.G HIGH SCHOOL was established in the midst of various adverse conditions due to the efforts of the Lt Safiq Ahmed, a prominent educationist of the region. The land of backward poverty in the beautiful forest became well known as the only educational institution in this rural area in a short period of time. As such, the school crossed the century mark.
