In the lap of nature, with the help of some local education lovers, the school was set up initially class V and VI in 1960. The school was recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1962. The land had been (18 decimel) donated by Late Laximani Biswas. Then it got the recognition for taching class VI to VIII in 1963. In 1996 and 2006, the school was upgraded to class X and H.S. respectively. Students of this shcool are mostly first generation learners. They are from very poor family but their aim is very rich. We the staff of this institution, are always striving to make them reach their ultimate goal. Despite of many disadvantages, the students carrry on their studies and glorify the history of the shcool wiht brilliant result in MP and HS. With the formation of Kanyasree Club, Child Marriage has been stopped in the surrounding of the school. In the field of cultural programme especially in drama, the students of school have been rewarded and applauded time and again. The school is always trying for the well being of the students and for the infrustructre betterment in collaboration with the staff and the managing committee.
