Mathpara. M.F.P. School is a state government-administrated school situated within Barrackpore industrial belt. The school was established in 1953 as a municipal free primary school between the two Primary Schools under Ward No. 1 of Khardaha Municipality. Most of the students are coming from minority families with economically too humble background. The deplorable state of local industries compels the families to face utter hardship for earning their bread & butter; as a result most of the students are first generation learners.

Therefore, it's our constant endeavour to act for upliftment of these students. With our team of dedicated teaching & non teaching staffs, we are working relentlessly towards development of students. Adhering the rules & norms of RTE act, we are trying our best to provide holistic education to our students. Beside academia, we inspire our students to indulge themselves in co curricular & cultural activities also.

Though it’s a long term process; we know, with our constant effort, one day our dream will come true. Gradually, we are being able to create identity of our institution as one of the ideal primary school among Khardaha Circle. Alongside academic activities, our students are craving their path in extracurricular field also.

Along with well-maintained classrooms, we have arrangements for providing Safe Drinking water, hygienic hand washing area, separate toilets & urinals for girls & boys, healthy & safe Mid Day Meal cooking and distribution system.

We are happy to declare that our institution has achieved Nirmal Vidyalaya Puraskar 2018 approving our growth towards progress.

The main discomfort still we have that there is no playground in our campus. Our students are in urgent need of a playing area so that they can stretch their little wings outside the four boundaries of classrooms.

All though there are many limitations; still we believe, one day our students will be able to achieve success by overcoming these obstacles - "We shall overcome some day."
