By ignoring the past, we can never assess the present. The past is essential for the proper understanding of  DURLOVPUR HIGH SCHOOL (H.S.). If we go back to 60 years past, there was a farming land at length. The boys and girls had to go as many as 12 km's to have their study in high schools like Rukunpur High School or Amtala High School. Viewing at these difficulties, a local school teacher, Samser Ali Biswas came forward to set up this school. According to a local Educationalist, Haji Marfatullah Mondal donated 3 acres of land for this purpose. way back to 1968, the study of class V & VI standards started under the shade of straw and jute sticks. Majibar Rahaman, Marfat Hosen, Badal Kumar Biswas, Abdul Salam were appointed as teachers. students of local villages like Durlovpur, Dilalpur, Madhupur & Khanpur used to throng there. By and by the school has been upgraded to the secondary level in 2007 and then to a Higher secondary level in 2013. The present glory of this school stands mostly on its former students.
