Paikar  prathamik  vidyalaya  i.e our school was awarded  "Nirmal Vidyalaya Puraskar" on 2013 by Birbhum  District  Primary School council. Our former head teacher Janab Yeakub Hossain was awarded  the most prestigious  samman"Shiksha Ratna" on 2016 by education department,govt. of Westbengal  for his contribution of educational  activities. Later he doneted all his prize money to plant a water purifier in our school.
