Teesta valley high school was established in the year of 1985 and was run by the local school committee.As there was no secondary school nearby and as per the area and population of the garden intellectuals of the society felt the need of the school,many students of the garden area had to cover 8 to 10 kilometer to pursue their secondary level studies.Hence school was set up in 1985 with the energetic and dedicated voulnteer teachrs of the area.The school started and run smoothly providing quality education to the underprivileged childrens of the garden.The school commitee monitered the school as wel as their relentless work for the recogniton was also there.After long struggle of 14 years finally school got its upper primary level recognition in the year 1999 then got its secondary level as high school recognition in the year 2011.Hence aftrer a long struggle and dedicated service to the society school is performing and providing quality education to the society.Since 2011 school has performed its best result in Madhyamik Pariksha till now.All the teachers are dedicated ,sincere and punctual to their duty as their primary moto is" Work is worship and duty is God"
