Some words from HOI ' s desk --

Maharni Girls' HS School always aims for the allround development of its students. To live upto the school ' s motto, "SA VIDHYA YA VIMUKTAYE", school renders every care to it's students to help them to become fearless, independent, self confident and self respectful in their life. Our teachers believe on counselling rather than on punishing the students to correct their faults. Students are provided  ample opportunities to express themselves through various curricular as well as  co curricular activities which in turn help them to hone up their latent talents. Our school is catering the  need to educate the girls from under privileged section of the society right from the days of its genesis. Our dedicated teachers try their best to give individual attention to the students and to do so they even visit the students' residence. In a nutshell we can say that our school is totally a student_ centric institution.

As we all know that education is a never ending process. A true education helps an individual to acquire the capacities like intellectually enlightened, vocationally skilled, socially efficient, emotionally balanced, morally strong, culturally polished and spiritually profound. Our school always endeavours  earnestly to bring into practice the true meaning of education in its daily teaching - learning processes in the classrooms as well as in the playground.

Though our school faces various hurdles related to insufficient infrastructure, declining guardians' participation, changing socio-cultural practices etc but " Deep in my heart I do believe we shall overcome someday! " With the continuous guidance and support from the School Managing Committee, dedication and hard works of teachers, cooperation of parents and the valuable and constructive suggestions from our wellwishers I believe we  together we can create a new history. Maharani Girls HS school believes that Team work makes dream work . Our school has vowed to  always  live upto the objective of establishing this school by Mrs Hemlata Sarkar -- "Womens' emancipation through education   ".Above all I feel proud to be an important part of this heritage school and I promise to shoulder my responsibility with utmost dedication and diligence.
