If anybody asks me my favourite destination, well that's my school. Yes it's a school in a village called Baniapara in Mohitnagar, Jalpaiguri .Baniapara Junior High School was established on 28th February, 2011. It is under the Belacoba Gram Panchayet. We started our journey with only 14 students. At present the school is from class VI to class VIII. The total number of students is 85. We have three permanent teachers, one guest teacher and one Group D staff. Our classrooms are our temples where education is imparted for all round development of our students. The students and teachers of our school are extremely disciplined. Besides books, we give importance to learning based on practical knowledge. We give equal importance to games and sports which is also an effective way of learning. We give utmost importance to the Mid Day Meal scheme. We also give importance to cleanliness not only within the school but also to the entire village for which we received the "NIRMAL VIDYALAYA" Award in 2018. Our students have come out with flying colors in  the NMMSE exams, an examination of Scholarship for class VIII,conducted by GOVT of India every year. We have received State Level Inspire Awards,a Competetion of Science Model Exhibition, conducted by GOVT of India, for the last four consecutive years. Our students have made us proud by their achievements  and THEY are our journey to carry on our journey further.
