Our school is situated at Kurshahat under Shukarurkuthi Gram Panchayat of Dinhata Subdivision in Coochbehar District and adjacent to bangladesh border.The name of our school is entitled after the name of the locality. The high fencing of Indo-Bangldesh border and high vigilence of B.S.F are noticed here easily. As the school is situated in minority area, the major portion of the students belong to minority community. A good number of stdents come from the other side of Indo-Bangladesh border fencing and they have to come by showing proper identity during the schedule time permitted by the B.S.F. Most of the guardians belong to below poverty level and they generally migrate to other states for their livelyhoods keeping their siblings to their old ones.

                                                          I am trying my best to sail to the optimum goal of education though we have a lot of scarsity in infrastructure and inavailability of teaching and non-teaching staff.

                                                          i) Education is not only for lives but also livelyhoods.

                                                          ii) Eduction is not only the means of the bookish knowledge, but also the means of all round development.

                                                          iii) I am trying to make a brotherly environment among the staff and guardians so that an ideal atmospheremay sustain for reaching our goal.

                                                          iv) I believe that enthusiastic and esthetic qualityful teachers may play a vital role to make a school enviroment a better one.
