Krishnapur B. S. Senior Madrasah is located in the Tufanganj Block of Cooch Behar District, West Bengal. It was founded in 1967. The great land donors of the Madrasah are Haji Jobbar Ali, Abdul Hakim Mandal and others. The other contributions are milestones of the Madrasah. There are also huge contributions of the local well-wishers, villagers and nearby mosques in the establishing and developing activities of the institutions. The current roll strength of the students is that 403. The institution is continuing its journey to promote modern education along with modern subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, geography, history, islamic history ,arabic, islamic theology etc. The students participate regularly in academic, cultural,curricular, co-curricular, scholastic,social welfare, nationaland international activities, occasionsand ceremonies.

The Madrasah works under the instructions of the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education, District inspector of schools(S.E.) and circle inspector of schools(S.E.).
