Kaliganj upper primary school is situated at Deocharai village of tufanganj sub-division in the Cooch behar district.There are 117 students, 3 teaching and 1 non-teaching staff in the school.Four classes are there in the school V-VIII, so more teachers are needed.The tacher-students and parent-teachers relationship is very good.But the school has some problems.Most of the students come from the poor family,some students go to the other state with their parents for job and they return after one and two years.After gaping this period they can not adjust with the  class.The most dangerous problem in the school is that there is no bounday wall though it is situated beside the main road.The fund for boundary wall is required to release as soon as possible.
