Mohanpur Sabitri Vidyamandir High School founded in the 1950s in the remote corner of West Bengal in the district of Coochbehar to impart quality education among the students mostly coming from the Poor Rajbanshi community and Back ward class people of the rural under developed area. The School is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of H S Education. In 2006 WB State Council of Vocational Education introduced Engineering and Tecnology and Computer Application in the X+ level . A large number of students already passed Vocational H S Exam and completed technical education and establised in their field of study and also in employment. We have wel equipped laboratory for technical education and also general education, The school is 8 kilometres from Mathabhanga subdivisional town on the SH 16 towards Jalpaiguri Siliguri. Approach road to the school from SH 16 is too much decorated with shade trees and is at safe distance from the High Road. It has open play ground for physical  exercise and team work of the students.
