After the independence of our country, Balupara GSFP School was established and recognized in 1950 (01- 01-1950). It is located in a rural area of village Balupara, PO-Gopalganj, GP-Ramkrishnapur, PS and block Kumarganj in Dakshin Dinajpur of West Bengal, 733141.

The school consists of grade - V. The school is co- educational and it has an attached pre-primary section. At present in the academic year 2020 54 students and 4 teachers in this school. Bengali is the medium of instructions of this school is approached by all weather road. Academic session starts in January in every year of the school. School has Government building, there are six class rooms for instructional purpose and one room is occupied as teachers room cum library. The school has boundary wall with gate,so there is no security issue for students.

The school has electricity connection. It has a water filter for drinking water but is not sufficient. School has digital classroom with projector but it has no computer. School has facility of ramp for special need child's . There are separate sets of toilets for the boys and girls respectively.
