It is a pre-independence school in the Rangamati Chandpara area under the Bahrampur block and Sadar Dakshin Chakra under the Murshidabad District Primary Education Council. Today the school is well-established with a reputation for overcoming many adversities over a long period of time due to the sincerity of the former teachers, the relentless efforts of the students and above all the administrative cooperation. Despite having a primary school in a nearby village for a long time, a number of students are enrolled in this school for the sake of education. But at present due to the shortage of teachers in the school and the large number of students, the enrollment has been relaxed. Also drawing and quiz competitions according to the department are held in the school to make the students feel good and democratic.
•     Inspired by the teachers of the school, Shishu Sangsad and students actively participate in the social awareness activities like dengue and malaria prevention, Hagabandha program, Nirmal village and other various service activities respectively. Above all, the students-teachers-guardians of this school are bound by one thread. As a result, the students who have graduated from this school have achieved a special place in the class from fifth to twelfth class every year by competing with a few English medium schools in the area. Teacher of this school is honored as the best teacher of the cycle in 2009. The school got Nirmal Vidyalaya honor and students of this school got special place in post graduate degree in Kalyani University. From 2016 to 2018, in both the sections of Nirmal Vidyalaya Abhiyan's drawing competition, the students have won first place and first, second or atleast third place in the district. This is achieved with their dedicated efforts and relentless cooperation of teachers. In this context, it has to be said that in 2018, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago speech, inspired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, the student of a government primary school in this remote village took second place in the state and made not only the school but the entire district proud.
