I, Utpal Kumar Mandal, HM, of this institution and  son of Radhagovinda Mandal was born in 1966 in a village which is at a distance of 6 km from sub-divisional  town Raghunathganj, Dist. Murshidabad. We  are two brothers and  four elder sisters, all of whom are highly educated.  My father, a  poor primary school teacher  is very popular in the area and known as very  honest and responsible person. He was also an exceptional  Anchal Prodhan who was in the chair for 37 years(1963-1998) at a stretch. My  Primary schooling was  from my  village Bagha, P.O- Ghorsala, Msd; Secondary Edn. from Raghunathganj High School , where I served as Asstt. Teacher and Asstt. H.M. for 14 years. I got National   Scholarship in M.P. 1981, took H.S.Edn. from Jangipur College,  graduated (Physics Hons)from famous Krisnath College, Berhampore; M.Sc.(Physics) from Rajabajar Science  College, Kolkata, and B.Ed. degree from David Hare Training College, Kolkata. Before final result of M.Sc. I joined as AT in Raghunathganj High School, leaving    the opportunity of research.  From very beginning I did not spare no pains to   discharge my duties to the utmost satisfaction of the authority and tried to provide all round support   to my  students. I organised many Science Exhibitions specially in Golden Jubilee of Raghunathganj High School and my present school Srikantabati  P S S Sikshaniketan. In 2003, I joined as HM in Kandi Raj High School,  which was established by the Raj family of Kandi  with the request of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar.  The secretary and President of the school was Atish Chandra Sinha and famous scientist  Bikash Ch. Sinha. Performances in two years of my working period regarding administration and development had been  highly praised and facilitated by the then A.I. of schools(SE),Kandi Sub-division.

       I joined this present school on 1.3.2005. Before my joining  infrastructural and academic performances of the school was very poor. I have  made a sheer change in the infrastructure and teaching-learning process of the school. In 13 years 54 new rooms with all facility have been constructed. Plenty of Furniture have been made. The old building have been thoroughly repaired. Good  arrangements of drinking water , sufficient toilets, laboratory and library etc have been have been provided.  Science stream and vocational section have also been introduced in this period. More than that I think that i have  brought back the ambience of education for which this institution have become one of the largest school of the sub-division. So many works in such short time has been possible with the financial assistance of the local people and my indomitable endeavour. This school is also now used as camp office of WBBSE and WBCHSE. All round development of the school made it as one of the best school in the district. I truly consider the  school a temple and give as much time as I can.
