I am excited and honoured to  welcome you to the website of Kankhuria Primary School.Nestled in the lap of the beautiful verdant  surroundings, the school was established in 1946. Situated 'Far from the Madding Crowd ' it is one of the oldest pioneering educational institution  in the district of Birbhum .

            As a head of this prestigious institution I feel it's my foremost duty to lead my teaching faculty to ignite the young minds with zeal , enthusiasm and an insatiable quest for knowledge. 

           In 21st century ,the students need to develop special skills, critical thinking and effective oral and written communication.Our aim is to make students apt in these skills which will enable them to  become truly global citizens.Our mission is to develop a spirit of Universal humanism , brotherhood and a cosmic vision .Our emphasis is on building a world without boundaries - a world where people exist in symbiotic relation amidst amity, love and peace.

        I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be the successor of so many eminent personalities who served this institution .
