From the Head Of Institution Desk

Sirsha Koradangal Primary school has been playing its role to spread education among the masses since 1957. The school is under the Birbhum District Primary School Council, situated at Koradangal of Rajnagar circle. Currently, we have 47 students in different classes. We have 3 teachers but only 2 teachers in position. One teacher, Santiram Das has been deputed to Arali Primary school. There are two classrooms, one kitchen shed, and two latrines, and a urinal for the students. There is an adequate supply of water. The students are getting all the facilities including mid-day meals, free uniforms, free textbooks, and free education, and the other facilities given by the government from time to time.

The area is mainly occupied by the peasants of low-income levels and they are also trying to offer their children proper education through this school. The school is dedicated to giving free and quality education to the children of this area. The self-help groups are attached to this school and they are also trying to play their roles to bring a social change in the community. The school has also taken many initiatives to make a change in the community with the help of NGOs.

Sirsha Koradangal Primary School is not only a school but a social institution for the whole community.

I hope this school can continue to play its role throughout its journey with the help of the common people of this area.

Thank you.
