Welcome to the School Website of Saktinagar Girls'High School.

 

I am honoured to be a part of this one big family that is Saktinagar Girls'High School, an institution that has been ensuring strong bonds among her students, staff and all well-wishers since 1949.

Beginning her journey as a four class junior high school at the outset, the school has come a long way to establish herself as one of the leading Higher Secondary Schools of the town, with enviable infrastructure, a very good and spirited team of teachers, an encouraging Managing Committee and students who never fail to surprise us, coming up with flying colours in whatever they do, from academics to athletics.

 

Despite all efforts for perfection, there's still space for further improvement surely. More subjects need to be introduced in the Higher Secondary section, where we have  only the Humanities stream to offer till date. Other areas of development, like the library and reading room facilities and setting up of laboratories for the science stream, better washroom amenities in every floor, better environment for children with special needs are to mention but a few.

 

I believe that no target is unachievable when we work towards it in unison. All of us here are together in giving off our best always for the success and glory of our beloved school.
