Holy Family Girls’ Primary School is run by the Society of Sisters of Charity of Sts. Bartholomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa. Sisters dedicate themselves to the service of the youth, the sick and the needy, engaging themselves to be the sign of God’s merciful love among people in conformity with the charism of Institute. The Institute from its origin has developed a profound consciousness that education of the youth is a vital component of the charism of its Founder St. Bartholomea Capitanio who held the youth “Very dear to her heart” and committed wholeheartedly to their personal growth and development so that they would become catalyst for a just society.
The goal of education is to teach the students to live, to discover the deeper meaning of life and of transcendence, to learn, to interact with others, love creation, think freely and critically, find fulfilment on work, plan their future. It is in and through education that there can hope for a human future and more harmonious society. So we make constant and careful endeavours:
Make the students aware of their dignity as the children of God.
Develop their intellectual creative and aesthetic faculties.
Cultivate in them love and appreciation for their culture and tradition.
Train them to make correct use of their judgement, will and affectivity.
Imprint in the heart of the students the sense of values.
Foster in them the social awareness.
Prepare them for the future career and thus develop a well balanced personality for the good of the society and for the formation of a better world, where love, fellowship and service prevail.
At the completion of their primary education we expect from our students to be spirituality oriented, morally upright, patriotic, emotionally balanced and sensitive to the need of others. We seek the collaboration of the parents and active co-operation of the teachers for the attainment of these ideals and objectives.
