Established on 2nd Febuary in 1953 the institution has been successfully spreading its light of knowledge and wisdom among the people around vast areas. Situated near Chakla Locknath Madir which is under Deganga Block in the District of North 24 Parganas, this institution has about 2000 Students. It is a Govt.Sponsored ,Co-Educational institution. It was recognized as a four class juniour high school in 1966, later it was recognized as a high school in 1969. The institution was upgraded as higher secondary institution in 2000.
