Leningarh Siksha Niketan High School(H.S) is a Govt. Sponsored Co-education School. It is situated at Leningarh P.O Chandpur-Leningarh , P.S – Newbarrackpore, Kolkata-700110 ,Bilkanda II Grampanchayat under block BKP-2 in the district of 24 Parganas (North). It is a refugee area. People of Leningarh established the school in 1971. Gradually the school gains its reputation and upgrades to class XII in 2000. Since the establishment the school has earned a reputation for itself by exerting an excellent atmosphere for studies. The teachers of the school teach the students with utmost care and sincerity. As a result the students gradually perform well in both Madhyamik and H.S Examination and in games and sports. Every year on the 3rd of February the school holds a cultural function and prize distribution ceremony on the occasion of its Foundation Day. The students- boys and girls take part in the cultural functions and it helps the students to foster their talents. The school always takes care of the Govt. rules and regulation along with many prakalpas like Kanyashree, Sikshashree, Aikyashree, SabujSathi,Mid-Day- Meal and etc for the benefit of the students.
