The school was established in 1960 as 2 class Junior High School and recognized as 4 class Junior High School in 1962.  The school was recognised as 10 class high school in 1964. The school was upgraded as Higher Secondary School in 1998 with two streams Arts and Commerce. Science stream has been started from 2014-15 most of the people are first generation learners .Most of them belong to SC, ST,OBC and minority community. There are only 18 teachers including Head master in this School. More than 700 students come from different categories.
