SOUTH MAHISHPUKUR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL was first recognised in 2010, and established in 2012. At the very beginning one guest teacher was appointed to start the setup, then gradually teachers were recruited through SSC. Mr. Subrata Roy,  English  (Hons) on 14th  December 2013, then Mrs. Selvisa Sen, History (Pass), on 6th February 2014, and lastly Mr. Suranjan Das on 11th December 2014 has joinen the school.
