Kanmari Vidyamandir (High) is a truly co-educational school. Our challenge is to provide a truly co-educational environment. We aim to prepare all of our pupils, girls and boys alike for the challenges, responsibilities and experience of adult life. Our challenge is to provide the conditions and experiences which will promote the all round development of each pupil including their spiritual, moral, physical, social, aesthetic, intellectual and vocational development.

All members of the school community – pupils, parents, teachers, other staffs and managing committee members are held in very high regard and their dignity, worth and individuality is respected.

We strive to build a sense of community based on Indian Values. The school’s Code of Behaviour acknowledges this and aims to promote a culture of respect throughout the school. It recognizes that good discipline enables good teaching and allows good learning to take place.

Our aim is to create such an environment which enables good teaching and allows a fair weather for better learning.

The school aims to provide special guidance especially for those who are disadvantage in any way.

Our Values

Human values are important because they motivate the human being to cultivate and continue to seek the perfection of his individuality. On the other hand , social values are essential to regulate collective actions common to all individuals in a group .

Values will help to shape the students’ sense of right from wrong, their behaviors, their motivations, and everything.

Our expert teachers give emphasis to nourish the Values that are extended to Indian origin or culture. Our motto is to inculcate the values among the children’s mind through different Curriculam and Co-Curricular activities.

1. Respect

Teachers are very careful to teach them the word ‘Respect’. It is one of the greatest of virtues as considered by Indian Culture. A child is taught how to give the proper respect to the elders, including parents, relatives and teachers.  Our aim is to promote a culture of respect throughout the school.

2.Ability to Sacrifice

A child needs to understand the value of sacrifice. There will be many occasions where a sacrifice is necessary in order to make the best of a difficult situation. It is taught to share and to sacrifice with his or her friends first.

3. Importance of a Good Education

Indian values place a lot of importance on education as well .Teachers give stress to understand the importance of good education& values to become successful person later in life.  Develop within them a love for education. Once the values are grown up, success is going to be an easy achievement for these children.

The students are encouraged to do at least a good turn everyday .

4.Love for Family

A loving family is the birthright of every child. The students are taught how to love and care for friends and families. The Teachers are always engaged to provide good relations between different classes and year groups and between staff and pupils.

5. Strength to Preserve

Children will have to face hardships on their own when they grow up. They need to have the strength to persevere even through the most difficult times. If they do not have it, they will end up giving up in every difficult situation. They will never be able to face criticism or hardships.

The strength to persevere is taught through the Co-curricular activities.

6. Learning to be Helpful

It is not possible for anyone to achieve a goal or complete a task without the help of others. Similarly, children are taught to help others. They understand that the joy of helping others is a reward in itself.

7.Charity

Charity is another unsung virtue which children can benefit from when they pick it up at an early age. Children can seem selfish at times which is why we slowly introduce them to charity.

8. Honesty

It can be shocking to hear children lying from a tender age. It is simply because they do not yet know the harm in lying or they may lie out of fear. That is why we have to make our children understand that honesty is truly the best policy.

9. Self -Disciplined

A lack of self-discipline can lead to innumerable problems later in life.

The future of the children is heavily dependent on what values they are taught to inculcate in them now. Teaching them the right ones will help them lead a better life and a positive future.

Our Teachers are very helpful to teach self –disciplined.

10. Ahimsa

Ahimsa has ancient roots in Indian tradition. Mahatma Gandhi throughout his life professed and practised non-violence for India's independence struggle.

Our Teachers inspires to make friendship with others.  The Teaches never entertain any violence in or outside the Campus.
