Swarupnagar  Charpara Junior  High  School  was set up in the year 2011 in the village of Swarupnagar  Charpara of Swarupnagar  block in North  24 Parganas. This  school was established  keeping  in mind about the children of the locality. Before the school  was set up,the students had to go almost three kilometers  to reach the nearest  High  school. The only mode of communication  available  to them was bicycle.During monsoon  it became  very tough for them as they had to go through muddy  lanes.Hence,it became a demand of those villagers to set up a 'High school' there in the village. The Government, then, came forward and set up this school adjacent  to the Swarupnagar  Charpara  F.P School. Now,the children need not go far for their basic education which is their constitutional  right. At first, the school was run by three Guest Teachers who had  great experience  and profound  knowledge in their respective  field and built a strong  edifice which later helped the present faculty. Now,there are two Assistant  teachers  recommended  by The West Bengal  School  Service  Commission and recruited by the Ad-hoc Committee  of the School, one Guest Teacher and one Non-Teaching staff(Peon). The SI of Schools, Swarupnagar  circle is the ex-officio secretary of  the Ad-hoc committee of the school. The school aims at overall development of the students.Hence, besides learning the lessons the teachers always encourage  co-curricular activities. The students of this school mainly come from agrarian families and many of them are first generation  learners. Thus it is a great challenge  for us to make them realize  the need of education but now with the help of many developmental schemes of the government the problem becomes lesser than before. Now the parents  encourage  their  children  to go to school. This positive  gesture always motivates us to overcome all hindrances, all limitations  and also paves the path for us to move forward and enlighten  of our dear students' life  with the ray of education.
