In 1997 when for the first time I took the responsibility of HM in Ganganagar Beharilal Ghosh Vidyapith, I felt that the environment here had been waiting eagerly to become developed and updated with the active cooperation of the education-enthusiastic people here. Taking their active support and cooperation and of course the constant support of my managing committee, I endeavoured in uplifting the school to a Higher Secondary status. To give a school higher secondary level, many more other works and activities are needed to be done. The then managing committee had extended their full support and I with their assistance tried to upgrade the school. A single man is totally helpless in doing such gigantic work and I felt that each and every moment. Finally, with their active support and cooperation, the school has grown to the present status. 

At present the school has 3 storied building along with Laboratories dedicated for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography. The school has a well equipped Library, Computer Rooms (for the access of Students and Office separately), Mid Day Meal Kitchen Shade, Shaded space for prayer and other activities.  The active support and continuous motivation of our president of the present managing committee Sri. Nemai Ch. Ghosh along with his co-members for last few years, has paved out all these developments, which helped me to work smoothly. 

A small portion of the land along with the boundary wall inside, has been used to develop small garden, where our students have planted many medicinal and herbal plants useful for our regular life. The entire school has been brought under 24 hours CC TV surveillance to provide safety and security of the students in school. Some key initiatives have been taken to install roof top solar panels to provide uninterrupted power supply during the school hours. The school dreams to have a cycle shade or parking shade for the students as well as teachers. Introducing the Commerce stream is also in the pipeline and likely to be introduced in future course.
