All of you are most welcome to the Website of PANIHATI TRAN NATH HIGH SCHOOL (H.S). At the behest of  the School Education Department , Government  of  West Bengal ; it has become possible to introduce a  dynamic interface in between you and this century old Heritage Institution of 125 years of glorious existence.

PANIHATI TRAN NATH  HIGH SCHOOL ( HS ) has a  glorious past in comparison to the present day  scenario as this institution  came in to reality in 1896 by the  generous need of the flourishing  society .  But , today this  Institution has lost some aura of absolute brilliance of those golden days.  Yet , it still bears the hope for local students , mostly first generation  learners  who are coming  from  fence  sitting poor families  of  the  society.

Naturally ,  we feel proud when they achieve success from this institution ignoring their various socio-economic backgrounds .  They may not achieve ranks in WBBSE or WBCHSE mediated examinations  but they very often  make this Institution proud at several fronts – viz. champion in  quiz  competition organized  by Rotary club International, Salt Lake , Kolkata ; Rahara Ramakrishna Mission Boys Home ;  Panihati Municipality etc. Some students even very often  bring  pride for this institution from  the realm of various  Games  &  Sports  at national level.  

Success rate on average lies in between 97% -100% in WBBSE and WBCHSE mediated examinations  and  some students  even scores more than 90% though having their mediocre social background.

How such success happens !

All such credit goes to our most respected staff , both Teaching &  Non-teaching ; who cater their needs with very much passionate hearts . Within limitations of our various  infrastructural  resources  , our Teachers offer maximum possible value education in addition to their regular caring  and nurturing  the students  while  imparting  syllabus-centric  daily lessons. Awareness Campaigns on several burning issues  viz. on Environmental  issues  like Disuse of Plastic , Conservation of water , Tree Plantation Programme  ; Traffic rules on Road Safety ; Dengue Prevention  etc .  are  carried out  on regular basis .  Students of  Class V to Class VIII are  regularly  served  ‘ Mid Day Meal  ’  at tiffin hours. Students of all  standards are also fed ‘ Iron-Folic acid tablets ’  weekly to make them immune to malnutrition as well as to several  diseases . Our Institution  periodically organizes  ‘ Health Check -up Camps ’ for students under the able and  dynamic leadership of  physicians of National Rural Health Mission. Moreover , students  of higher classes are time to time exposed  to  Carrier  counseling  exercises  with  the help of various  Technical as well as Management  Institutes  of  repute.

At this time, while most parents opt for their wards to be educated in English medium schools ; a majority of guardians still put their confidence upon us to admit their wards in our Bengali  medium  Institution.  I am very much grateful  to all of them.

As being the Headmaster of this institution, I am assuring you the best possible learning environment  for  all  students  within  our limited  infrastructures  and  resources.

I always remember  the uttering of  one  of my beloved students , who very often says  - “Sir …. I  used  to cry when I first stepped into this Institution  and  will cry when I leave this Institution ”.
