Keshabpur Mahendra Inst. has been established in the year 1942 on 2nd Feb. as an Institution to spread the light of knowledge among the villagers of Keshabpur area on the western bank of the river Mundeswari of Hooghly district. The school was seat up by the then jamindar & eminent educationist Sri Bhobotaran Shina of Keshabpur village.
