A Few Words From Headmaster's Desk

Chhandra High School (H.S) P.O.-Harinkhola, Dist- Hooghly, W.B.,Pin - 712415,is not only an academic Institution by name but an integrated effort of thousands of poor,half educated or ever illiterate villagers , passion of many fameless educationists ,fruit of self sacrifice of some large hearted people.Having been set up in pre independent India in 1942 , it witnessed many ups and downs ,situated in a rural flooded area of the country ,it had to suffer various problems like funds ,infrastructure ,scarcity of teachers but it did not stop to its rustic pupils, to its diligent teachers and to other staff ,it always remains a temple of academics, a heaven of living Gods , a mine of colourful dreams. To the villages, educated or uneducated ,the school is a pilgrimage. a new feather is added in its crown in 2016 when it is upgraded to be a Higher Secondary School with Arts faculty.

     As the head of the Institution , today ,in these fearful days of pandamic (covid-19) outberak ,my heart saddens for the little youngstars not to have their presence and am worried about their studies as well . If we can impart education in digitized mediatheir learning may not discontinue so much . I also shall like to appeal to the department of education to avail ourselves some innovation in the teaching learning process . Also feedbacks from the students as well as the parents and well wishers are highly solicited to make the process of teaching more effective.
