Bhastara High Madrasah, an educational institution, is situated at a remote village of Hooghly district under Gurap Police Station. Mainly the students belonging to the minority  classes of adjacent villages come to this institution. Socio coltural and economic condition of most of the pupils are very poor. But their irrepressible desire for learning inspires our teachers. And then it seems that teaching profession is not same as other professions. Here every moment is connected with students' psychology, teachers have to concern with their likes and dislikes, their thoughts and feelings,their willingness and reluctance of learning. Our teachers are devoted to the students which is reflected in their class room interactions through teaching learning process as well as psychological developement of the students. As a result, students find interest in learning which enables them to the acquisition of knowledge. Our students are efficient enough in playing, recreation and cultural studies besides classroom teaching learninhg process. As a result of it Bhastara High Madrasah has passed fifty years of excellance with reputation and glory.
