The name of our school is Jhappukur Colony Primary School. It is located in the neighborhood, in 1972 at the initiative of some local child-loving people, the (local) club house in the neighborhood was first started with the little boys and girls of the area. Later, in the middle of 1972, the school was shifted to a place donated by two child-loving people. At present, children are taught from Pre-primary to class five and five teachers are novices in leading roles in the school.
