Joining this Institution as the Headmaster in the year 2009 I felt my self highly proud for being able to head an Institution that has had a chequered history. I immediately realised the responsibility when I sat on this Institution's Headmaster's chair that once adorned by Mahatma Aswini Dutta. I came to feel the glory of an Institution where Dr. Nilratan Sarkar work as an Assistant Teacher once for a few months. This school reached the pinnacle of glory when the legendary Headmaster of this Institution Sri Kartick Chandra Das was given the National Teacher Award in 1968. What had pleased me the most was the sincere co-operation and dedication of the schools staff. And this has definitely made my task esier. From the very beginning I put emphasis on three "D"s: Discipline, Dedication and Delight in teachin-learning activities. Inspite of the ongoing aggression of English medium schools on the social psyche our institution still boasts of having a present strength of 1400 plus students. And this has become possible for maintaning a disciplined structure in the Institution. As the Headmaster of this institution my message to all the students is : Be disciplined in all walks of life and success will come to your doorstep automatically. Our Institution distributes the scheduled dresses of our school to the students fro  Class V to VIII as and when sanctioned by the Government on certain specific dates announced well ahead to the student. The Government books for students from Class V to X alongwith Khata are distributed on the book day as announced by the State Government. The books prescribed and given by the Higher Secondary Council are distributed to students of Class XI and XII on any of the following working academic day after the Institution receives those books from CLRC office. The school observes the Teacher's Day on 5th September every year in a decently colourful way with the active and enthusiastic participation of the students.
