Now a day there is a increasing trend among the parents to get admission of their wards in the private school for better education facilities rather than Government Primary school. In this scenario Housibad Primary school of Bankura district under Block I Chhatna is throwing new lights to the students under the government Primary Education arrangement. This remote village school has set an example in activity based learning and child friendly school environment in the locality for creating a new developed society beside better education. 

I have joined in this school in the year 2010. At that time this school building was situated in the middle of the village in a congested area. A new school building is set up at the present location after my arrival at this school with the direct help from the villagers and by the various government grants. For this, we must remember the name of Late Sankar Chandra Mondal who had donated the land to built up the school building in the new location. There is a big open play ground in front of the school for which the children use to get enough opportunity to play. 

                If one comes in this school premises will notice the beautiful arrangement for separate toilet facilities for boys and girls, a number of water taps connected with overhead tank for hand washing before mid-day-meal, good arrangement for drinking water, separate garbage bins for wastes managements for perishable and non-perishable  wastes.

              . The school premises is wide open and without boundary wall for which the security of the school is hampered. It will be a blessing for the school and for the security of the students if the Govt. or any other volunteer organization comes forward for erecting of fencing .We hope that in future the name of the school will be widely spread in the locality, district and the state.
