1. Your child attends school every day
2. Ask your child about his day in school, what he learned, what he enjoyed most and was he happy
3. Check your child’s planner for any information from the school, such as newsletters, upcoming events,etc.
4. Encourage your child to read every day for two hours at home, or read to them
5. Contact the school, or e-mail/phone the principal or teacher with your questions or concerns
6. Attend parent-teacher conferences to learn about your child’s progress
7. sign up to help and volunteer at school events and field trips

We welcome and encourage you to get involved in the various volunteer opportunities that may be available during the school year. Volunteers play an important role in enriching the educational program and promote a supportive relationship for the students, teachers and school staff.
