Darapur Sagarmeje High School was established on 16/02/1962. The institution is named after two villages : Darapur and Sagarmeje. Education person spreads the light of education in these villages through the establishment of this big institution. The school is recognised by the register of Board vide memo no- 638 Edn(D) date 16/02/1962 and got MP status in 01/05/1998 vide memo no- S/Recog/98/51 date 11/09/1998 and got HS status in 01/07/2012 vide memo no- DS(A)SD/0471/Recog/12 date 21/06/2012.
