I feel immense pleasure and joy for being a part of this glorious 71 years old institution. With the help of education interested people of this area this school was founded in 1949. It was upgraded to a Madhyamik school in 1949 and it attained the status of a higher secondary school in 1960. From the very beginning it plays the role of  the torch bearer of education for the people of a vast area. If we consider the academic performance or the overall growth of this institution we can surely consider it as a premier institution of the district.

Led by renowned and eminent persons who decked the chair of the Headmaster, this institution has attained its present bright position. The motto of our school is “achievement for all”. My predecessors were able to maintain this moto successfully. I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be the successor of so many eminent personalities who served this school as head of the institution or teachers who were mentors rather than teachers.             

Here children are given the opportunity to taste and develop their talents across a broadly based and academically stimulating curriculum that promotes intellectual, artistic, aesthetic, physical and social development. To ensure that all pupils have the opportunity to learn and make progress.
