As the Headmaster of Saldahara Panchagrami Kalyani Vidyamandir (H.S.),I am extremely delighted to produce a brief overview of our prestigious school.
A school is an organisation which is considered as the second home of the students. Our school is situated in a reote area of “ Jangalmahal ‘’ in Bankura district on the border of Paschim Medinipur . We dedicated from the very beginning to try to develop the teachers-guardians relationship as the family members. Of late, we are very proud of our achievements.
Our school was established in 1964 as a Jr. High school . Now it was been transformed into a multidisciplinary higher secondary school with Arts and Science streams over 900 learners. Our goal is to provide our students with quality educational program in secure and healthy environment that will change them academically, socially and spiritually. We always try to develop good character of the students. We concentrate to make the pupils apt in critical thinking, effective oral and written communication and become truly global citizens. All of our staff believe that close relationship between school and home is very important for the welfare of the students. So I encourage parents and guardians to attend the teachers-guardians meeting. It gives us immense pleasure when the guardians and the parents show an interest in becoming a part of our school community. We cordially welcome them.
Every month we discuss and analyse our achievements and obstacles in the meeting of the Staff Council and make a plan for the betterment. In school we make it our present mission to ensure our students’ future success. Our teachers and staff plan to develop innovative and creative ways to improve the pupils’ overall success. We are extremely proud of our pupils’ achievements in examination, cultural activities and games and sports.
As a headmaster I am always dedicated to carry out all responsibilities. I firmly say that we will be doing our part in sending out our young generation who will surely make a mark in the society. I can’t ignore the educational philosophy of Swami Vivekananda –
“ Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man.”
