Our school which was set up in 1846, is one of the oldest institution in the district of Howrah. Me and my all teachers and non-teachings take great pride in the heritage of our school.

I think parents, students, teachers and Government are a team and complement each other's efforts. Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one's life and make our students the future of the country.

A large part of a child's active life is spent in the school. A student who is taught discipline will learn the power of self- control. A dedicated team of teachers of my school teach the students very passionately and with all potentiality. Besides education, our students are also encouraged in various co-curricular activities. They get here ample scope to inculeate their interest in many things like music, drama, recitation, debate, drawing, model making, tree-plantation, campus beautification etc.

Keeping in mind the message of Swami Vivekananda ' Arise, awake, and stop not untill the goal is achieved', we, the teachers, students, parents, ex-students, members of managing committee, ex-teachers and local people will continue our journey and will leave no stone unturned to make our institution best.
