In the year 1958 Gobindapur, Shyampur was thousands of miles away from civilised city. In that remote village Mr. Nityalal Mondal used a vast portion of his property to build a School building and Hostel building to light the lamp of education among the girls. So Nityalal Memorial Girls’ School was established to educate not only the girls of Gobindapur but also the girls of whole West Bengal.

                 The colourful flowers of the garden surrounding the school enhance the student’s mental health. Here they get the environment like Tagore’s Shantiniketan. In this nice eco-friendly campus the girls breathe in pollution free air full of oxygen and enjoy their life with hearts content. Ex-students of the School flew in different parts of the country with successful career shared such experiences.

                  Teachers are well-trained and updated with new syllabus and method of modern teaching. They not only educate the students like their own daughters but encourage them to do so by inspiration through their smiling and admiring attitude.

                 Guardians express their satisfaction regarding safety and method of study. Poor but meritorious girls are provided monetary facilities and books from library. Teaching and non-teaching staff of the school are kind-hearted and cooperative.

                Students residing in the Hostel are taken care for all round development of a girl. Dance, song, drawing, recitation, yoga etc- different aspects of career are considered as per the requirement of boarders.
