From the sacred foundation of the school(1960) let honoured P. Mohan Maity had been administrating the school heart and soul. In 1997,Feb. after his retirement,existing Headmaster Mr. B.C. Kar has been taking the responsibility of administration and teaching and learning since then i.e. in 1997 Oct. At that time, although the infrastructure of the school as well as the standard of teaching and learning and the results of the school were not so good, the school itself prided on its sports and cultural programme. The school takes pride in its heritage. Yes , of course, there is a reason behind it. He is our beloved veteran, humanitarian and freedom fighter Dr. Shusil Kr. Dhara of whom we are proud till today. We are inspired and stimulated by his heroic deeds and activities. We “hail to thee” for his selfless contribution. In 1949, he founded “ Nimna Buniadi Vidyalaya” at Rajarampur. Later he set up “ Uchha Buniadi Vidylay” at Tajpur,. A few yearslater, in 1966, the Buniadi Vidyalaya” trans formed into Tajpur High School. Again, in 2009-2010(at the time of Golden Jubilee) this school advances into Higher school with Science and Arts education by all enthusiastic persons.
