Education in India made significant progress over the years. With this progress of spraying the essence of education, a bright stride was taken in a remote marginal village- Joyramdanga in Paschim Bardhaman district, when in a club house a primary school was set up in the year 1981 namely Joyramdanga Free Primary School.  This school has passed long four decades of path with great  development in different field of education and set up a landmark and become an icon school in the locality. 

The students from three surrounding villages come to the school with profound enthusiasm and interest as the school is a pioneer of imparting education with audio visual learning facility using all modern way of learning. As a result the school has achieved glorious Nirmal Vidyalaya Award in the year 2013 and Academic Excellence Award in the year 2017. A great emphasis is given to all students on the all round development of the child along with moral value of education. Total students of the school is 150 in the session 2020 and number of teachers presently 6(six). We believe that this progress of the school will be accelerated in the years to come to bring up poor 1st generation,  downtrodden students to a good human being.
