History

                Dr.Radhakrishnan Higher Secondary School is located in the outskirts of Darjeeling town which lies in the rural belt of a beautiful, clam and serene village Rangit Mazuwa Busty, amidst the nature’s lap. Dr.Radhakrishnan Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1985 which was of course a great blessing in disguise for the entire community of this topographical rural belt. With the advancement of time as per vide memo no. S/Recog/2000/900 dated 07-09-2000 this very institution gained government recognition w.e.f. 01-05-2000.Further the School was upgraded to a secondary school and finally got govt. recognition as per vide memo no. S/Recog/2010/252 dated 22-12-2010 w.e.f. 01-02-2011. Similarly after years of hard labour the school got +2 recognition vide memo no. DS(Aca)SD/0561/Recog/2016 dated 18-07-2016.

                  The institution provides forth both Arts (Humanities) and science stream with best qualified faculty members and the qualitative education of this institution is very much reflected in 100% results both in Madhyamik and H.S examination every year.
