Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Mem. H S School is situated at Singritam Busty, under Rangli Rangliot Block almost 26 km from Darjeeling town in between two tea Gardens Tukdah and Glenburn tea estate. The School was established in the year 1965 in the land (47 decimal) donated by Lt. Man Bdr Gurung for the purpose of inculcating Educational spirit in the area. Initially the school was run by the selfless people interested in education with about 100 students upto Class VIII. After years of struggle and hardship the school was recognised in the year 1983. The School was in the year 2011 upgraded to High School and in the year 2018 the school was upgraded to Higher Secondary. In the year 2003 because of the land of the School was in the sinking zone, the school was shifted to the present location (Singritam Busty). The new land of the School (60 decimal) was donated by Smt Shanti Gurung. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Mem. H S School is presently providing quality education from Class V to XII with best qualified and dedicated teachers.
