History

Tindharia High school is situated in Tindharia which is almost 27 km from Siliguri and 17 km from Kurseong.  It is located in Tindharia where railway settlement was developed under Kurseong sub-division in the district of Darjeeling.

The people interested in education, social workers, villagers, parents/guardians took initiative for the noble cause of opening a school in this area. The purpose of opening a school was to meet the need of education for the boys of this area.
