History

Soureni-Mechi Primary School,is one of the oldest primary school located at Soureni Bazar in the year 1943,at that time Sri Bal Kumar Pradhan was the Headmaster of the school after his retirement Smt Puspa  became the Teacher In-charge ,after her retirement Sri Samsher Moktan became Headmaster on 2007 till his retirement on 2013,then after his retirement Sri Anil Pradhan became Headteacher on August 2013 till dated now,this is all about the headteachers ,more to say about the school is one of the best school where people love to visit with their child,the school give cent percent best for the upliftment of school,school family always give their best in developing the skills of the learners along with the studies they also give time on extra co-ri-cullum activities so the learners gain more knowledge.The school premise is sorrounded with high cementry boundries with a huge iron gate ,so that no one can entry the school premise without permission.The school have a huge building the ground floor consist of four classes along with dinning hall with running water,and a small storeroom.The top floor consist of Office,Staffroom,big hall and nursery classes.To say more about the school ,the first headmaster Sri Bal Kumar Pradhan had won the National Award
