History

The school was first started on the land of Thalthala Roy which was known as Palashbari. Later on, three bighas of land allotted by Chaturmahan Roy and the school moved to the present situation with a straw house permanently. Mr. Nagendranath Jha as head master of the institute started teaching with a few number of students in the straw house. After his retirement, the acting head teacher of the school was Harendranath Roy of Malaivita of Madhya Daukimari. Binaykrishna Ghosh from Dhupguri was the next headmaster of Jiban Dey Sarkar from Jalpaiguri Gomostapara. Then one by one Himanshu Dey, Amiya Dutta from Gayerkata and Paresh Chandra Bhattacharya from Kalirhat and Narayan Banerjee from Dhupguri were all the head teacher of the institute. Narayan Banerjee was the last head teacher of the institute of the school. After his retirement Anil Chandra Roy of Thakurpath was the acting headmaster from 2014 to 2019. At present, Hiranya Adhikary, T.I.C., has been working since February, 2019.
