         Salbari High School is cituated in its own land in the 1st January 1950. the land particulars are under mouza Paschim Salbari Block Dhupguri in the District

of Jalpaiguri. The total measurement of the land under review is 1.46 acres Plot no 938, Khatian no 231.

       At the out set establishment of the school 2 class middle English was recognized by the Govt. in the year 1.1.1950 vide memo no 196 dated 9/11/49.

       4 class Junior High School ( V to VIII ) introduced on 1.1.1968 vide memo no 1527/69/GA dated 27.08.69 with co education.

       X class High School was started in 1.1.78 vide memo no S/136 dated 10.3.79 with co education .

       The School subsequently was upgraded as Higher Secondary School in 1999-2000 with Arts stream vide memo no DS(A)1136/99 dated 27.7.99.

      While Science stream was introduced in 2012-2013 , class started in 2014-2015.
