Basusuba high school situated in the remote village of Basusuba under Malbazar sub-division in Jalpaiguri district is reputed to be one of the leading institution for education in poor children of the village . At first some enthusiast villagers felt the need to setup a school for the children of the poor villagers .The dream of the visionary comes into reality today . Sri B.K Roy donated the land for the school and some educated young and energetic teachers taught the students in exchange of a very few money . After five years of their selfless work  the state govt. Sanctioned affiliation in favour of the school upto class VIII  in 1971 . After a long time over thirty years the school was upgrated to high school in 2005 . The impression of the guardians about the school gradually developed , the school was upgraded to higher secondary school in the year 2011 . At present the students specially the girls students after completing  their H.S exam successfully take admission to maynaguri and Jalpaiguri college for graduation . Day by day , the number of college going students is increasing and the trend stops the early marriage girl students . The school at present earns reputation games and sports and cultural activities . The students and the teachers try their level best to make it an ideal one .
