HISTORY OF BHOTEPATTY H.B.L. HIGH SCHOOL(H.S.)

Bhotepatty H.B.L High School (HS) (Bhotepatty, Jalpaiguri) started its journey in 1967 with a handful of students. Several educational enthusiast of the locality extended their helping hands to setup this Institution from the very ground. Now it has become one of the premier Govt. Sponsored institutions not only in Jalpaiguri but in our State.

 Present student strength of this Institution is more than 2400. This Institution has been scintillating the light of education to the people of this area for more than 50 years. More than 50 teachers have been working tirelessly for the all-round development of the students. Students from this Institution proved their academic excellence in the Board and Council Exams time and again. This Institution has a rich cultural heritage. Students take part in various cultural and science programmes through out the year. In co-curricular activities students made this Institution proud by bringing laurels from State as well as National level. It has a big library with a plethora of books on different subjects for the intellectual upliftment of students. It is very encouraging that the number of girl students has been increasing day by day. Presently the girl students outnumbered the boys. More than 95% students belong to scheduled cast category. This Institution has been successfully providing all Govt. facilities to the students on time. The School Managing Committee has been working tirelessly on the holistic approach of education.
