Saberia M.F.P school is a school under jalpaiguri municipality , situated near the dhardhara bridge , ward no. 2 raikat para, jalpaiguri. this school is a very old school in this area. this school has many histories . it is established in the year 1880. The school witnessed the brittish era and also the pre-independent movement . There are many stories about the establishment of the school. these stories are as follow-

1. according to late Dr. mohammad taiyaab chawdhury , the school was named after mohammad saber uddin moktar , who is the founder of the school.

2. according to late ajit bandhu dhar, the school was founded by syberia mohammad. he established a small 'pathsala' . at that time mainly local muslim students came here for education. during division when local muslim citizens left the place mr. dhar and late shree jeeban goti roy took the initiative to maintain the school. mr. Dhar became the secretary of the school and mr. Roy became the president.
